Information about exam inspection
The procedure and process of the examination inspection will be sent by the respective examiner via C@MPUS to the student email address. Please check this at regular intervals, or leave a forwarding to your private email address. At the Chair of Automotive Powertrain Systems, please send an email to Dietmar Schmidt to arrange a viewing appointment.
Fundamentals in Automotive Engineering
- The exam lasts 120 minutes and the maximum possible score is 120 points.
- The tasks consist of comprehension questions (approx. 33-40%) and calculation tasks (approx. 60-67%).
- Closed books - i.e. aids are not permitted!
- A collection of formulas is issued along with the exam. Nevertheless, the derivation of formulas can be part of exam tasks.
- Calculators can be used to solve the calculation tasks, but the programming part cannot be used!
Note: This module replaces "KFZ I+II #13591". The old and new modules cannot be combined!

- 2. Teil (Rechenteil) = Alle Hilfsmittel sind zur Lösung zugelassen, AUSSER alte Klausuren, die nicht im Vorlesungsskript enthalten sind und nicht programmierte Taschenrechner (Speicherlöschung wird geprüft), Laptop, Handy u.Ä.
No aids are allowed for all other exams offered by the IFS.
